Policy for Inspection, Desk and Review copies

All Inspection/Desk/Review copies are available on a complimentary basis however applicable postage charges and a $25.00 AUS handling fee does apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Inspection copies: These are provided at the publisher's discretion to instructors/lecturers considering texts for course adoption for classes of 12 or more students.

Desk copies: Desk copies will be provided to any instructor who has adopted a text for a course.

To request either an inspection or desk copy, please provide the following details on a school letterhead:

1.       Lecturer Name

2.       Campus Postage Address details (no residential addresses will be accepted)

3.       Phone and email details

4.       Course Name taught

5.       Number of students

6.       Course level  1st/2nd/3rd year/postgraduate

7.       Semester and year the course will be starting

Please note Inspection/Desk copies will not be sent to a residential address. Please provide your campus mailing address.

Review copies: These are provided at the publisher’s discretion to bookstores and book reviewers. Please send your request on a company letterhead and provide the name and address of the bookstore wishing to potentially stock the book or the name of the publication to which the review is to be submitted and the expected date of publication of the review.

As we are an independent, unsubsidised publisher, Tagari Publications will consider each request for review copies on its merits.

To request a review copy, please provide the following details on your company letterhead:

1.       Bookstore/Reviewer Name

2.       Company Address details (no residential addresses will be accepted)

3.       Phone, email and website details

4.       Bookstore location and details on books stocked (i.e. general bookstore
          stocking all book categories, gardening only etc.) if applicable

5.       Publication details where review will be published (if applicable)

6.       Expected time of publication (if applicable)
